Coordinator - Lucas Dorion

Reverend Lucas Dorion grew up in Pensacola, FL, where his family still resides. He was ordained to the Gospel Ministry at the church where he grew up, Northridge Church, in June of 2001.

Lucas is a graduate of Samford University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Religion with a concentration in Congregational Studies. He also earned a minor in Philosophy. In 2004, Lucas received his Masters of Divinity from Candler School of Theology at Emory University.

Lucas has served several churches, including Southside Baptist in downtown Birmingham and Riverchase Baptist in Hoover, AL. Most recently, he was the Associate Pastor for Families with Children and Youth at College Park Baptist in Orlando, FL. Lucas has also worked with ALCBF in the past as the Interim Volunteer Coordinator for Sowing Seeds of Hope.

Lucas is married to Emily, a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner who works in the Emergency Department of Children's Hospital of Alabama. Lucas and Emily have been married since 2004 and have two children. Their son, Nash, was born in 2008 and their daughter, Sarah Cate, joined the family in late 2013.
