Tri-State CBF Assembly: TAG! You’re It!

Friday, October 3rd-Saturday, October 4th, 2025 | First Baptist Church Chattanooga

Welcome to the TAG Assembly! This fall, Cooperative Baptist Fellowship organizations from Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia are coming together for the first time to host a shared annual gathering. The theme, "TAG! You’re It!" celebrates our unique tri-state collaboration and invites us to boldly step into a vibrant future of ministry. This year’s assembly will focus on children’s ministry, exploring innovative approaches and trends that empower us to nurture faith in the next generation. Together, we’ll celebrate beloved community, enjoy meaningful fellowship, and embrace creativity as we learn and grow across state lines. Join us for this special time of connection and inspiration—because when it comes to ministry, you’re it!

“For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” Matthew 18:20

Recommended Hotels near First Baptist Church Chattanooga with group rates

We are excited to see you in Chattanooga for the T.A.G. States Gathering. We have been overwhelmed with the positive response of those planning on attending the event. To help accommodate the need for places to stay in the downtown area, all previous hotels have added rooms to their held blocks. In addition to this, two new hotels have been added to the offering and are also downtown and close to the church. This is going to be a very busy weekend in Chattanooga and space is limited in these blocks, so do not delay in contacting the hotel of your choice. After you do that, be sure and pre-register for the event through your state’s website. We’ll see you soon in the Scenic City.

Bring the Whole Family to TAG!

TAG is a gathering for all ages—and this year, we’ve created something special for children and youth that’s every bit as much a part of the event as the adult sessions. Together, we’ll experience a weekend where everyone—preschoolers, grade schoolers, youth, and adults—has meaningful opportunities to learn, create, and connect:

Preschool & Grade School: Creative, hands-on activities and storytelling, including a special quilt-making project where every child can contribute to a beautiful group creation.

Youth: A time to reconnect with friends they’ve met at camp, retreats, and General Assembly while sharing meaningful experiences together.

TAG is more than a conference—it’s a chance for your whole family to be refreshed, inspired, and connected. Don’t miss this opportunity for your children and teens to grow in faith and friendship.

Register today and make TAG a family experience to remember!

About our Host Church: First Baptist Church Chattanooga

This fall, as we gather for the first-ever TAG Assembly, we are thrilled to be hosted by First Baptist Church Chattanooga. Much like the tri-state collaboration between Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia, FBC Chattanooga embodies the spirit of unity and diversity in ministry.

Rooted in the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, this congregation is anything but typical. Whether worshiping through the resonating tones of the pipe organ, hearing sermons from both women and men, or celebrating children taking active roles in worship, FBC Chattanooga creates a space where all of God’s children find belonging.

Their welcome extends to everyone—from the questioning to the confident, the well-to-do to the hungry and hurting. Here, there’s a bond that enriches, satisfies, and sustains, much like the connections we aim to cultivate at the TAG Assembly.

Together, we’ll experience the beauty of bold, creative ministry and beloved community in this sacred space. We can’t wait for you to join us in Chattanooga this October!
