Jones Founders’ Award for Service and Leadership Nomination Form
The Jones Founders’ Award has been established by the Coordinating Council of the Alabama Cooperative Baptist Fellowship (Alabama CBF) to honor the extraordinary legacy of Joe and Frances Jones. Their vision, service, and leadership helped shape Alabama CBF into a fellowship rooted in integrity, thoughtful discourse, and mission.
This award recognizes individuals or groups who embody the same spirit of leadership, service, encouragement, and faithful witness that Joe and Frances consistently modeled.
We invite you to nominate individuals or groups for this honor.
Criteria for Consideration
Nominees should demonstrate some or all of the following:
Visionary Leadership – Contributing significantly to the life, mission, and growth of Alabama CBF or its partner ministries.
Commitment to Service – Demonstrating a pattern of faithful service in church, community, or mission work.
Integrity and Thoughtful Engagement – Modeling the kind of honest, thoughtful, and encouraging presence that Joe and Frances embodied in their relationships and work.
Encouragement of Others – Supporting and empowering leaders, churches, or communities, especially in times of transition or challenge.
Legacy of Impact – Leaving a lasting mark on Alabama CBF or its mission partners through sustained commitment, generosity, and love.
