First Baptist Church Williams is building houses!

Hope is rising from the ground in the Williams and Webster's Chapel communities in the form of new houses.  The tornadoes of April 27th, left many houses in this community destroyed.  Five months later, volunteers from Alabama and other states are coming to Williams to help rebuild houses for families who lost everything. Families help with the building of their new houses, and the church and local businesses help to furnish the them when they are ready to move in.

Recently, we were in Williams as volunteers from Highland Baptist Church in Macon, Georgia spent several days helping to finish building and painting a couple of houses. "It's been such a blessing to us to be able to help," said Neil Heath, coordinator of the trip. "We hope to be back!"
