April 28 Response Update

Just a short word at the end of this very difficult day. Terri, Natalie and I continue to work at connecting our folks with places of need. We meet in the morning with VOA representatives. This follows a conference call Terri joined this morning with VOA, CBF and others.
 
We know the Williams community was hit hard and Mike and Mary Oliver (of FBC Williams) have already been grateful for the help of their ALCBF family. Supplies have been provided and that will be an on-going need there and in other areas of the state as well. We are working with folks in Tuscaloosa to form plans of helping out there as soon as we can. Also, there are many other areas of need in Alabama, some just now being discovered by us.
 
When we hear of needs with families in the geographic area of one or more of our churches, we will send it to the appropriate folks within the church to decide if it is something they can help with.
 
We will keep you informed as we go through this marathon. Help will be needed for a long time, and we want to patiently and faithfully do what we can. Frankly, this day makes me even more convinced that our ALCBF is filled with great churches and people.
